Shazia Osman

Shazia Osman has a wealth of experience in the field of business development and medical informatics. Shazia began their career in 2004 as an Internship in Bioinformatics at INRIA LORRAINE (LORIA). In 2006, they moved to Progimed as a Support Technician for Laboratory Management Systems, providing off-site and on-site technical customer support and training related to biomedical Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIS). In 2008, they took on the role of Teaching Consultant & Application Engineer in Medical Informatics for Biomedical Laboratories at DL SANTE PROGIMED. In 2014, they joined Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Technical Solution Manager Europe, Middle-East & Africa Region, performing pre-sales technical & business consulting for LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) within Europe, Middle-East & Africa region and product demonstrations for new prospects in various industries. Since 2019, they have been working at Keen Eye as Director of Business Development and Senior Business Development Manager.

Shazia Osman has a varied educational background. Shazia obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Bioinformatics from INRIA, a BSc (HONS) in Molecular Genetics in Biotechnology from the University of Sussex, a Master of Science (MSc) / Master 2 (ex DESS) in Bioinformatics / Bioinformatique from Université de Bordeaux, and a Master of Science (MSc) in Cellular Biology and Physiology with Molecular and Cellular Genetics from Université de Bordeaux. Shazia also attended Loreto Convent Quatre Bornes, Mauritius.
