Kathryn Boyd Stakelin

Kathryn Boyd Stakelin has extensive experience in the equine industry, currently serving as a Seasonal Sales Office Employee at Keeneland Association, Inc. since August 2011, focusing on the Sales Registration Department. Additionally, Stakelin has been part-time in the Cataloguing Department at The Jockey Club since May 2014, following a long tenure from January 1978 to March 2008 as a Special Projects Coordinator. In this role, Stakelin compiled the International Cataloguing Standards Book, managed the design and printing of Pocket Pedigrees, and contributed to various publications and online resources for The Graded Stakes and The Foal Books. Prior to this, Stakelin was the owner of Newgate Road Farm, specializing in thoroughbred breeding and boarding from 1978 to 1989, and began a career as a receptionist at The Hillman Company from 1963 to 1966. Stakelin's educational background includes studies at Southern Seminary & Jr. College and formative schooling at Ben Avon Grade School and Avonworth High School.
