Rody Turpijn has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Rody started their career as a professional soccer player for Ajax, playing from 1996 to 2003. After their soccer career, they worked as a policy officer for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2008 to 2010, where they were responsible for coordinating the Dutch agricultural policy of the European Council.
Turpijn then transitioned to the private sector, working at Randstad from 2010 to 2020. Rody held several roles, including Sales Development Manager, Team Manager, Operational Manager, Senior Operational Manager, and Principal Operational Manager. In these positions, they managed sales teams, focused on new business and relationship management, and was responsible for growing team revenues and profits.
In 2020, Turpijn joined Wundermart as the Head of People, where they stayed until 2022. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing people operations and development within the company.
After leaving Wundermart, Turpijn worked at Adecco as the Head of Permanent Recruitment from May 2022 to November 2022.
Currently, Turpijn holds the position of Chief Operating Officer at Kees de Boekhouder, starting in April 2023. Additionally, they also worked as a freelance columnist and writer for de Volkskrant from 2011 to 2020.

Rody Turpijn completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam between 2003 and 2007. Following this, from 2007 to 2008, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in the History of International Relations from the same university. In addition to their academic qualifications, Rody obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2020.
