Birjukumar Unadkat, LSSBB, PMP®, currently serves as the Assistant General Manager for Compounding at KEI Wires and Cables, beginning in February 2024. Responsibilities include the commissioning and installation of a new rubber compounding plant, heading operations within the compounding department, and overseeing the design of rubber compounding labs along with equipment procurement and people development. Previous roles include Senior Manager in PCR Compounding at JK Tyre & Industries Ltd., Works Technical Manager at Goodyear India Limited, Deputy Manager of Research & Development at HASETRI, and Senior Executive - Technical at Apollo Tyres Ltd. Birjukumar holds a B.E. in Rubber Technology and a PGDBM in Business Management, and is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Analytics at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Expertise encompasses a broad range of polymer systems and products with a strong focus on compound development and industrialization within the rubber and cable industries.
