Satu Kontiainen

Satu Kontiainen has held the position of Senior Communications Specialist and Editor-in-Chief at Kela since March 2009. Prior to this role, Satu worked as a freelance journalist during a child care leave from 2008 to 2009 and has notable experience as a journalist at TTT-lehti in 2005 and 2006, as well as from 2007—the latter also serving as a journalist. Satu's early career included sub-editing and journalism at Sosiaaliturva-lehti from 2003 to 2004. Academic credentials include a Master of Science degree in Social Policy and Communication from the University of Helsinki, completed in 2003, along with additional studies at the Aalto School of Arts, Design and Architecture in 2014 and the University of Leicester from 2000 to 2001.
