Giovanna Hernandez

Giovanna Hernandez is a seasoned professional in food science and innovation with extensive experience in research and development. As of October 2023, Giovanna serves as a Director at Kellanova. Prior to this, Giovanna was a Director of R&D for MorningStar Farms and Incogmeato at Kellogg Company from January 2013 to October 2023, where responsibilities included overseeing technical management for frozen breakfast products like Eggo and breakfast sandwiches, and serving as a Senior PD scientist with a focus on chocolate processing and ready-to-eat cereals. Giovanna's career also includes a role as Innovation and Renovation Technical Manager at Nestlé, as well as project management experience in the chocolate and confectionery sectors. Additionally, a teaching role was held at Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México during 2011-2012. Giovanna holds a Certificate in Technology & Innovation Acceleration from MIT Sloan School of Management and an MBA in Marketing from Universidad Tecmilenio, alongside a degree in Biochemical Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico de Veracruz.
