Karina Santibanez

Karina Santibanez serves as the Regional Data Governance Lead at Kellanova since October 2023, where leadership in the development and adoption of the Data Governance Framework for the LATAM region has been pivotal. Previously, in a similar role at Kellogg Company from July 2019 to September 2023, Karina collaborated with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data standards and aligned data management strategies with organizational goals. Karina's extensive experience in data engineering includes designing ETL data pipelines in AWS and managing data integration. Prior to Kellogg, Karina led software engineering teams at Axiem International and developed workflow applications at SigmaTao Software Factory. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Distributed Software Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Querétaro.
