Anne Skinner

Anne Kelly Skinner serves as the Conflict Check Managing Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg. In this role, Anne manages the firm’s conflict check department. As Kelley Kronenberg continues to grow and expand into new business and practice areas, Anne works diligently to ensure that the firm remains compliant with all applicable bar, industry, and client requirements. Additionally, in collaboration with firm leadership, Anne develops, implements, and manages effective compliance strategies and procedures which enable firm attorneys to more efficiently accept new cases, clients, and matters offered to Kelley Kronenberg. Anne also serves as the firm’s Florida Bar point of contact to ensure firm contracts and practices remain fully compliant with existing regulations and bar requirements.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Anne spent the majority of her professional career in state government in public service on behalf of the State of West Virginia. As a Senior Assistant Attorney General for the Office of the West Virginia Attorney General, Anne represented state agency clients on matters relating to labor and employment, consumer protection, the regulation of professional practices, and legislative rulemaking. While there, Anne appeared in legal proceedings held before the county, state, and federal courts, and appeared numerous times before committees of the West Virginia Legislature. Upon appointment by the West Virginia Governor, Anne also served as Deputy Commissioner to the West Virginia Alcohol Beverage Control Administration, wherein she assisted the Commissioner in the regulation of the sales, distribution, and consumption of alcoholic beverages in the state.

Anne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa after graduation. Anne then went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the West Virginia University College of Law.
