Johnny Boan

Johnny Boan is the current Vice President of Global Distribution at KEMET Electronics. Johnny has been with the company since 1980, starting as Senior Director of Business Development. In this role, they focused on the transportation and alternative energy markets and was the government liaison for grants. Johnny left KEMET in 2010 to join YAGEO Group.

Johnny Boan's educational career includes a MS in Industrial Engineering & Quality from Eastern Michigan University, an MBA in International Business from the University of Texas at Brownsville, an AS in Electronic Engineering Technology from Greenville Technical College, and a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Business Administration & Accounting from Presbyterian College.

They work with Susan Barkal - SVP, Quality, Chief Compliance Officer, Global Supply Chain & Chief of Staff, Cory Riedel - SVP, Ceramic Business Unit, and Andreas Hammer - VP, Sales - EMEA. Johnny Boan reports to William Lowe, CEO & Director.
