Fernando Valdez

Fernando Valdez is an accomplished leader in the animal sciences field with extensive experience in business development and commercial leadership within the ruminant and monogastric sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Ruminant Business Development at Kemin Industries since December 2016, Fernando has previously held the role of Vice President of the Commercial Division for Monogastric at Kemin Health and Nutrition from January 2013 to December 2016. Prior to that, Fernando was the Director of Tech Services for North America at Kemin Industries from 2000 until 2012 and served as a Senior Dairy Consultant at Purina Mills, LLC from 1989 to 2000. Fernando's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Animal Science from Washington State University, a Master’s Degree in Animal Sciences from Oklahoma State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Science from the University of Florida.
