Tuija Pohjolainen-Hiltunen

Tuija Pohjolainen-Hiltunen has extensive experience in the chemical industry, particularly in water treatment and pulp & paper sectors. Currently serving as President of the Industry & Water Segment at Kemira since June 2008, Tuija oversees a revenue of approximately 1.3 billion euros, focusing on water treatment chemistries for municipal and industrial customers. Previous roles at Kemira include Senior Vice President of Pulp & Paper Americas, where responsibility included a commercial organization serving North American and South American markets, generating over 500 million USD in sales. Tuija's career also encompasses significant positions in business development, integration management, and R&D with successful achievements in mergers and organizational efficiencies. Prior experience includes management roles at YIT, Skanska, and Ahlstrom Aquaflow, along with an academic background in Clean Technology from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
