Melissa Kerzic

Melissa Kerzic is an accomplished professional in the field of protein purification and process development, currently serving as the Director of Purification at Kemp Proteins since April 2020. With prior experience as a Manager of Protein Purification and Purification Scientist at the same company, Melissa has built a strong foundation in protein purification techniques. Previously, Melissa worked as a Process Development Engineer at IDT Biologika from October 2018 to April 2020. Melissa's career began at the University of Maryland IBBR, where the role of Faculty Specialist was held from June 2002 to October 2018. Melissa holds a Master's degree in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wingate University.
