Sara Street

Sara Street is a Scientific Officer at Kemp Proteins, specializing in the production of proteins using mammalian and insect cell cultures since June 2023. Prior experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at Juniata College, where responsibilities spanned multiple semesters, supporting students in various chemistry laboratories. Sara worked as a QC Technical Services Intern at Lonza, performing quality control tests and shadowing microbiology processes. Additional experiences include leadership positions at Taco Bell, monitoring lunch periods for Frederick County Public Schools, and a hosting role at Mountain View Diner. Sara gained initial research experience as a Werner H. Kirsten Intern at the Frederick National Laboratory for Cancer Research. Sara holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Juniata College, earned in December 2022.
