Museum Educator, Multigenerational Programs at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art

Ellie Closen is an experienced museum educator specializing in multigenerational programs, currently holding the positions of Museum Educator, Multigenerational Programs Coordinator, and Teen Arts Council Coordinator at Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art since October 2020. Prior to this role, Ellie served as a Marketing Intern at Lawrence Arts Center from January to March 2020 and as a Fine Arts Intern at CIDER GALLERY LLC from August 2018 to May 2019. Ellie completed a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a focus on Strategic Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Art with an emphasis in Drawing and Painting from The University of Kansas, as well as further education at Accademia del Giglio and Scuola Toscana.
