Walter Shay

Walter Shay has a diverse work experience primarily focused on data and technology. Walter began their career at Merrill Lynch in 1984, where they held the position of VP of Information Technology for over 24 years. In 2012, Shay joined CSX Technology as a Senior Manager, leading teams in big data, analytics, and BI architecture. After five years, they moved to Black Knight Financial Services, where they served as Director of Data Strategy, BI, Analytics, Architecture, and Provisioning. Currently, Shay is the Director of Data at Kemper since December 2019.

Walter Shay earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut from 1979 to 1983. Walter also holds a Greenbelt in Six Sigma certification from Six Sigma NJ, but the exact year of obtaining this certification is unknown.
