Jussi Ahola has a diverse work experience in the field of design and entrepreneurship. Jussi started their career in 2014 as a Lead Designer & Strategist at Vincit Oy, where they worked on various projects for high-profile Finnish clients. In 2017, they co-founded Deft Division, a growth hacking boutique focused on data-driven decision making. At Deft Division, they conducted analytics-led experiments and prototypes to maximize the value of development efforts. In 2019, Jussi co-founded Tideal, a community-led climate action platform, where they served as the CEO and product designer, leading the team and setting the product direction. In 2021, they co-founded Oncarbon, an emissions management platform for air travel, where they held the position of CEO and designer, overseeing product development, fundraising, and business development. Jussi also served as a Board Member at Tribe Tampere from 2022 to 2023. Currently, Jussi works as the Lead Product Designer at Kempower.
Jussi Ahola has an education history that includes a Master of Science degree in Human-Technology Interaction from the University of Tampere, obtained from 2011 to 2014. In 2013, Jussi was an exchange student at Kookmin University, studying Visual Communication Design and Korean Language for a year. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Tampere from 2006 to 2011, with a focus on English, Technical Communication, Management and Organisation, and Education. Additionally, in 2009 and 2010, Jussi studied Sociology and International Politics as an exchange student at London South Bank University.
