UX Manager at Kemppi

Jussi Kapanen has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Jussi began their career in 1985 as a computer operator and programmer at Simonpaino Oy. In 1987, they worked as a waiter and cashier at Silberkugel Ag. Jussi then gained experience in cost accounting as a trainee at Sp-Reifenwerke GmbH in 1989. In 1990, Kapanen joined Nokia and held various roles including competitor and market analyst, communications officer, and senior system engineer. Jussi also worked as a lecturer at Mikkeli University of Applied Sciences from 1996 to 1998, teaching courses in industrial economics and telecommunications. Kapanen returned to Nokia in 1998 and took on roles such as product manager, user interface usability and senior specialist in user interface design and usability. Jussi later became the user interface design manager and then the manager of user interface design at Nokia Networks. In 2011, Kapanen worked as the key area concept owner of Nokia Care IT and later as a principal and senior experience analyst, and finally as a UX strategist at UX Vision Oy. In 2012, they became the UX manager at Kemppi Oy, where their responsibilities include user needs research, interaction design, visual design, usability engineering, prototyping, and project management.

Jussi Kapanen's education history started in 1985 when they enrolled in Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan. Jussi pursued a master's degree in Business Strategy, Industrial Economics, Telecommunications, and Business Law, completing their studies in 1992.

In 1996, Jussi Kapanen attended Tampereen ammatillinen opettajakorkeakoulu, where they acquired a Pedagogic qualification for vocational university teachers. Jussi'sstudies in this program lasted until 1998, focusing on fields such as Pedagogics and Human cognition.

Apart from their formal education, Jussi Kapanen has also obtained additional certifications. In 2019, they completed a course called "Elements of Artificial Intelligence" at the University of Helsinki. Furthermore, in 2021, they obtained a certification in "UX DesignOps: Overview" from LinkedIn.
