Richard Hanks

Richard Hanks is a seasoned data and analytics professional with extensive experience in architecture, business intelligence, and financial systems. Currently serving as Principal Data & Analytics Architect at Ken Garff Automotive Group, Richard previously held multiple key positions at Brigham Young University, including OIT Senior BI Developer and OIT Director of Data Analytics, where significant projects included the development of the Student Touchpoint model and managing the Data Warehouse. At Sonic Automotive, Richard established and expanded an internal Data Analytics team while spearheading the development of critical BI applications. Prior to these roles, Richard held leadership positions at Wachovia Securities and Deloitte Consulting, providing strategic support and consulting services to major corporations. An alumnus of the University of South Carolina and Brigham Young University, Richard holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Finance, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Russian.
