Arinze is a 24-year-old writer, designer, and strategist.

He started off his career as a Content Designer at Meta (formerly known as Facebook) in London, UK. At Meta, he designed product features that helped protect users from sensitive content across Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram.

Before joining Meta, Arinze had worked in e-commerce, strategy and business development roles at top global companies such as Sanofi, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Chocolate City Records (Warner Music Group Africa).

Arinze’s made his editorial debut in 2021 with his appointment as Managing Editor of A Nasty Boy, Nigeria’s leading LGBTQ+ culture magazine, where he oversaw the magazine’s editorial strategy.

An avid supporter of diversity and inclusion, Arinze is a recipient of The Diana Award, the most prestigious award a young person aged 9-25 years can receive for driving positive social action. Four years after receiving the award, he was invited to serve as a Judge for the 2021 Diana Awards to select the next cohort of changemakers whose humanitarian efforts are recognised in memory of the late Princess Diana.

In February 2020, Arinze graduated valedictorian of his class at the African Leadership University (ALU) in Mauritius with a first-class honours degree in Business Management.

In 2020, Arinze made history as he became the first student from an African university to be admitted to the Deferred MBA programs at both the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Harvard Business School.

Before creating Kenga, Arinze co-founded two ventures—Designish and EarlyAdmit—to create a community of African tech designers and help students from underrepresented minority backgrounds get into the world’s top business schools.

Arinze is currently a Schwarzman Scholar at Tsinghua University where he is pursuing a master’s degree in Global Affairs, specialising in Artificial Intelligence Policy. He also works as a Venture Associate Fellow at Sherpa Ventures, where he helps identify promising tech startups across Africa that are using technology to change lives and transform industries.

At Kenga, Arinze manages the company’s business operations, leads its strategic initiatives, and crafts the magazine’s editorial direction.
