Carlos F. has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and consulting. Carlos currently holds the position of Group Head of Information & Communications Technology (ICT) at Kenmare Resources Plc since March 2022.

Prior to their current role, Carlos worked as a Technology Lead at Accenture from March 2021 to March 2022.

From 2013 to 2019, Carlos held various positions at Mars, including IT Director Latin America. In this role, they directed the Latin America Digital Transformation Strategy, sponsored incubators and universities for digital transformation initiatives, and promoted a "Be Digital" approach for cultural transformation. Carlos also spearheaded a SAP/JDA initiative and coordinated various IT functions such as governance, project management, and systems development.

Before joining Mars, Carlos worked at SAP as an Account Executive from August 2011 to February 2013. Carlos collaborated with cross-functional teams to provide SAP solutions and services to customers in various industries and was recognized as a top performer in 2012.

Carlos started their career at IBM Global Services, where they worked as a Senior Consultant Manager - IT Program & Project Manager from July 2007 to July 2011. Carlos managed SAP implementations, rollouts, and P&L for clients in different industries and negotiated overall solutions with clients and internal teams.

Prior to IBM, Carlos worked at Plaut Consulting as a Consultant Manager from January 2003 to July 2007, where they led SAP global deployment projects in Latin America and provided IT and business consulting services to clients.

Carlos began their career at Deloitte Consulting as a Consultant/Project Manager from July 1998 to December 2003, where they designed business processes and deployed solutions for various industries, including agriculture and telecommunications.

Overall, Carlos has a strong background in IT and consulting, with experience in digital transformation, project management, SAP solutions, and business consulting.

Carlos F. has a diverse education history. Carlos started their education in 1992 at FEI, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering - Mechanics in 1997. During their time at FEI, Carlos participated in a University Exchange Program at Colorado School of Mines in 1995-1996, focusing on studying English.

After completing their Bachelor's degree, Carlos pursued further education and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa from 2003-2005, specializing in Executive studies.

In 2019-2021, Carlos pursued a Full-Time Master's degree in Digital Marketing Strategy from Trinity College Dublin, further expanding their knowledge and skills in this field.

Aside from their formal education, Carlos has also obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 1995, they received a certification in KANBAN/JIT/Material Handling & Management from IMAM. In 1996, they obtained a Techniques for Speech certification from Toastmasters International. Later, in 1998, Carlos earned two certifications, SAP PS/IM Consultant and SAP MM Consultant, from SAP. In 2002, they obtained an ORACLE Logistic certification from Oracle. Moving forward, they received an IBM Professional Consultant certification from IBM in 2009, followed by a Project Management certification from Franklin Covey Gibraltar in the same year. In 2016, Carlos obtained a Design Thinking certification from Allison Partners, LLC. Lastly, in 2018, they received two certifications from Mars, Inc., namely Crutial Conversation and Agile & SCRUM.
