Esther Michela Durrant

Esther Michela Durrant is an experienced education professional with a robust background in instructional design and special education. Currently serving as a Lead Instructional Designer at the Kennedy Krieger Institute since October 2021, Esther previously held a Graduate Assistant position at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Brigham Young University, where research focused on the role of critique in design studios. Earlier roles include Project Manager/Scrum Master internship and Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University, Field Researcher at the University of Michigan, and Special Education Teacher in various school settings. Esther holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Master's in Educational/Instructional Technology from Brigham Young University, and a Master's in Mind, Brain and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.
