Jaylyn Andrus currently serves as a Psychiatric Social Work Clinical Fellow at Kennedy Krieger Institute, starting in August 2025. Prior experience includes an internship as a therapist at Synergy Family Services, where engagement with clients aged 9-37 involved individual and family therapy, as well as collaboration with various mental health professionals. Jaylyn participated in the COPE training program at Kennedy Krieger Institute, focusing on delivering group mental health interventions for adolescents with ASD. Previous roles also include positions as a Community Support Worker, Business Development Representative at Spring Health, and a Litigation Paralegal at McGuireWoods LLP. Jaylyn holds a Master of Social Work from Howard University and a Bachelor’s degree in Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley.
