Bianca Burd

Bianca Burd has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Bianca started their career at Sportsgirl in 2004, where they held various roles in buying and product development. Bianca successfully returned the Accessory Department to growth and expanded the Beauty Business. In 2021, they worked as a Product, Buying & Retail Strategy Consultant at Kogan.com before joining Wittner Shoes Australia as the Head of Product. At Wittner, they set the product and merchandising strategy, reorganized teams, and re-engineered processes to enhance cross-functional collaboration. Currently, Bianca is the Product Director at Kennedy, a role they took on in 2024.

Bianca Burd has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Information Systems from the University of Melbourne. Bianca also completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and is currently pursuing a Master's of Business Administration (MBA), both from the Melbourne Business School. Bianca has also undertaken a Leadership Development Course at the Melbourne Business School. Additionally, they have completed short courses in Supply Chain Management and Organizational Change at the University of Melbourne, as well as courses in Fashion Management and International Business at SDA Bocconi. Bianca has further pursued their interests by taking short courses in Retail Planning and Buying, Fabric Knowledge, and Fashion Merchandising at Monash University and RMIT University. In 2023, they completed a course in Watchmaking and Jewelrymaking at the Gemological Association of Australia.
