Celine Abi Habib Kanakri is currently a Partner at Kennedys. Prior to that, they were Counsel- Team Leader at Baker McKenzie Habib Al Mulla from July 2007 to April 2019. There, they handled complex UAE and international arbitration cases (both in English and Arabic) in addition to acting as arbitrator before major arbitral institutions. Leading their team, they have helped multinationals and local and regional companies in their real estate, commercial, shareholding, construction, and banking and finance disputes, and governmental and state-owned entities with their structuring and restructuring.

Before Baker McKenzie Habib Al Mulla, Kanakri was Senior Associate at BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates LLP from September 2005 to July 2007 where they were part of the Corporate and Commercial practice. There, they advised clients with drafting agreements and provided legal opinions on several areas of Corporate and Commercial law. Celine also assisted with setting up of companies in the UAE.

Kanakri started their career as a Trainee Attorney at Araygy and Maalouly Law Firm from September 2004 to June 2005.

Celine Abi Habib Kanakri studied Lebanese and Comparative Law at Saint Joseph University of Beirut and Collège de la Sainte Famille Fanar.
