Heather Henderson

Heather Henderson is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in leadership and management within technology service operations. Currently serving as the Assistant Director of IT Service Desk Operations at Kennesaw State University since October 2015, Heather facilitates team activities to support a diverse range of IT equipment and applications while also recruiting and mentoring staff. Heather has held various roles in the university, including Interim Lead Service Desk Manager and IT Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing technical service teams and ensuring efficient resolution of service requests. Prior experience includes establishing a successful community location for Classical Conversations and roles in technical support at both Kennesaw State University and Southern Polytechnic State University. Heather holds a B.S. in Political Science with a focus on Legal Studies and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Kennesaw State University and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Southern Polytechnic State University.
