Jayson Alay-Ay

Jayson Alay-ay has extensive work experience in the field of data analytics and technology. Jayson is currently the Director of Enterprise Business Intelligence Technology at Kennesaw State University, where they are responsible for managing the university's data platforms, supporting data engineering pipelines, and facilitating decentralized reporting and analytics. Jayson also collaborates with academic and technology leaders to transform data into actionable insights using various data analytics platforms and technologies.

Prior to their role at Kennesaw State University, Jayson worked at LexisNexis Risk Solutions as the Sr Director of Software Engineering and the Director of Quality Engineering. Jayson also served as the Manager of Data Analytics. At LexisNexis, they gained expertise in software engineering, quality control, and data analysis.

Jayson Alay-ay's earlier work experience includes roles at UPS, where they served as the Manager of Information Technology for UPS Mail Innovations, the Data Engineering and BI Lead, and the Sr DBA and Data Engineer. In these positions, they managed IT functions, developed applications, conducted business intelligence and reporting, and supported data warehouse operations.

Throughout their career, Jayson Alay-ay has acquired proficiency in various technologies such as Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Services, Power BI, Python, SAS, and Oracle DBA. Jayson is skilled in data management, ETL processes, and leveraging data for decision-making.

Jayson Alay-ay has an Advanced Management Program degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Jayson also holds an MBA with a focus in Analytics from Georgia State University - J. Mack Robinson College of Business. Jayson'sBachelor's Degree in Computer Science was obtained from Adamson University.
