Karin Scarpinato

Karin Scarpinato currently serves as Vice President for Research at Kennesaw State University and is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Research Ingenuity, LLC. Prior experience includes pivotal roles as Director of Postdoctoral Affairs and Senior Associate Vice President at Florida Atlantic University, where oversight of the Division of Research, enhancement of research competitiveness, and facilitation of grant submissions were key responsibilities. Scarpinato has held various leadership positions, including founding president of the Florida Research Development Alliance, and has contributed to research programs in multiple academic institutions, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and faculty support. A robust academic background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Molecular Genetics from The University of Göttingen, complemented by extensive research experience in cancer biology.
