Michael Carroll

Michael Carroll is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leading teams and developing innovative security solutions across various sectors. Currently, as Director of Cyber Architecture at Capital One, Michael manages a group of Cyber Architects focused on addressing critical cybersecurity challenges. In addition, Michael serves as part-time faculty at Kennesaw State University, teaching information systems and cybersecurity at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Cyber Security Architecture at Truist, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple teams and security solution design, and various leadership positions at SunTrust and other organizations, focusing on information security strategy and operations. Michael holds a Master's degree in Information Systems and a Bachelor's degree in Information Security and Assurance from Kennesaw State University.
