Timothy Mathews

Timothy Mathews currently serves as the Director of the Center for the Study of Markets and Economic Opportunity at Kennesaw State University's Michael J. Coles College of Business since May 2017. Timothy has an extensive academic career at Kennesaw State University, holding positions as Professor of Economics, Director of MBA Programs, Associate Professor of Economics, and Assistant Professor of Economics, starting in June 2007. Prior to this, Timothy was an Assistant Professor of Economics at California State University, Northridge from August 2002 to June 2007. Timothy holds a PhD in Economics from Stony Brook University (2002), a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Virginia (1998), and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Political Science from Wilkes University (1996).
