Assistant Professor Of Economics at The University of Chicago

Christina Brown is an experienced academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Economics and Saieh Family Fellow at the University of Chicago since July 2021. Previously, Christina held the position of Research Fellow at the Center for International Development at Harvard University, where responsibilities included overseeing field implementations of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in Pakistan and contributing to research design, securing $600,000 in funding from the World Bank. Christina also served as a Research Assistant at The Fletcher School at Tufts University, a Consultant at Save the Children US, a High School Teacher with Teach for America, and a Research Manager at UCLA Political Science. Christina holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley, along with a MALD in Development Economics from The Fletcher School, a Master of Education from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA in Political Science and Physics.
