Scott L. Brown

Scott L. Brown has extensive experience in law enforcement and firearms instruction. Currently serving as a Firearms Instructor at Heffron Investigations & Consulting since September 2021 and as a Background Investigator with the Kent County Sheriff's Office in Michigan since June 2021, Scott brings a wealth of knowledge from a long tenure at the Kent County Sheriff’s Office, where roles included Captain, SWAT Commander, SWAT Instructor, Lead Firearms Instructor, Road Patrol Commander, and Honor Guard Commander from September 1994 to November 2019. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice/Law Enforcement Administration from Michigan State University and completed the School of Police Staff and Command at Northwestern University.
