Vihan Melaka is a Manufacturing Engineering Specialist at Kent Imaging since January 2024, previously serving as a Production Specialist. Vihan possesses extensive experience as a Software/DevOps Engineer at Axiata Digital Labs from May 2022 to November 2023, with a strong focus on on-premise Kubernetes cluster management and the deployment management of production services. Prior experience includes a role as a Robotics R&D Engineer at Arimac, where Vihan specialized in ROS and Gazebo simulation for robotic applications. Vihan also contributed as a committee member for the IESL RoboGames, promoting engineering talent in Sri Lanka, and for the SLIoT Challenge, enhancing awareness of IoT concepts. Vihan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Moratuwa, completed in 2022. Early leadership experiences include serving as captain of the under 15 B basketball team at Mahanama College and as a junior prefect.
