Jeff Young

Jeff Young, CFRE, currently serves as the Senior Director of Philanthropy, Gift and Estate Planning at Kent State University, where tenure includes progressively responsible roles in advancement focused on planned gifts. Additionally, Jeff operates as a freelance musician and private lesson instructor, developing tailored curricula for clarinet students and coaching them for various performances. Prior experience includes managing a team of approximately 40 telephone communicators at InfoCision Management Corporation, emphasizing high-quality customer service for non-profits, and providing instrumental music instruction as a student teacher at Barberton City Schools. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Music degree, summa cum laude, in Music Education from The University of Akron.
