Dan Smaldone has over 20 years of work experience in communications and public relations. Dan most recently served as the Director of Communications for Kentucky Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company, where they developed and implemented comprehensive communications strategies, directed advertising campaigns, and managed online and social media efforts. Prior to that, they were the Director of Public Relations for Kentucky Farm Bureau, where they established relationships with the media and developed PR plans. Dan also has experience as a Client Service Manager, overseeing benefits accounts for two corporations, and as a Media Manager for the Kentucky State Fair Board, where they managed a staff and developed promotional materials. Additionally, they have worked as a Communications & Travel Specialist for AEGON. Dan Smaldone has a strong background in media relations, strategic planning, and brand management.

Dan Smaldone attended Louisville Eastern High School from 1990 to 1994. Dan then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Bellarmine University from 1994 to 1998.
