Erick Vertein

Erick Vertein, FCAS, AU, is a seasoned actuary with extensive experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Senior Actuary at Kentucky Farm Bureau Insurance since August 2022, Erick specializes in catastrophe projections and annual budget forecasting. Previously, Erick spent nearly a decade at CUNA Mutual Group in various roles, including Actuary and Manager of Actuary, where responsibilities included underwriting, team leadership, and actuarial pricing for Fidelity Bond and Management Liability products. Additional experience includes positions at Prudential Financial, American Family Insurance, and educational roles at the Wisconsin School of Business. Erick holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Actuarial Science, Risk Management, and Insurance from the Wisconsin School of Business.
