Amy Luscher Smith

Amy Luscher Smith, PhD has a diverse work experience. Amy served as the Deputy Executive Director at Kentucky Housing Corporation from November 2013 to the present, where they provided leadership and oversight for various services. Prior to this role, they were the Senior Director of Organizational Planning and Performance from 2005 to 2013, responsible for corporate planning, project management, and grants management. Amy also worked as an Organizational Development Manager and Communications Specialist at Kentucky Housing Corporation from 2002 to 2005 and 1997 to 2002 respectively. Additionally, they held positions as an Adjunct Professor at Indiana Wesleyan University from 2007 to 2009 and as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville from 1994 to 1996.

Amy Luscher Smith, PhD, received their Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature and American Studies from Georgetown College in 1994. Amy then went on to earn their Master's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from the University of Louisville in 1998. Amy further pursued their education at the University of Louisville, where they completed their PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration, with a focus on Organizational Development, in 2009.
