Sara Rehfeld

Sara Rehfeld currently serves as the Director of Shelter Operations at the Kentucky Humane Society since July 2022. Previously, Sara held multiple leadership roles at PAWS Chicago from February 2014 to July 2022, including Director of Foster Programs, Director of Adoption Services, and North Shore Adoption Center Manager, overseeing significant adoption outcomes and managing teams and volunteers. Prior to that, Sara worked at Macy's as an Assistant Store Manager, responsible for team development and financial performance, and at The Bon Ton Stores Inc. in various management capacities, focused on driving results and employee engagement. Sara began a career in retail as a Sales Manager at Marshall Field's from 1988 to 1997. Sara graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School in June 1988.
