Adam Mayo is a skilled Systems Analyst and SQL Database Administrator with experience spanning various roles in scientific and technical environments. Since January 2023, Adam has been working with the Kentucky League of Cities, leveraging expertise in database management. Prior roles include a Laboratory Technician at Alltech from May 2017 to June 2021, where responsibilities involved method development and instrumentation troubleshooting, and at Marathon Petroleum Corporation from June 2015 to May 2017, focusing on petroleum sample analyses and quality control. Adam gained foundational research experience during a summer internship at The National Institutes of Health in 2014, assisting in clinical trial data acquisition. Adam holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Georgetown College.

Kentucky League of Cities
The Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) is an association of more than 380 Kentucky cities. KLC provides cities, elected city leaders and municipal employees with a number of services including legislative advocacy, legal services, policy development, community development, research and training, as well as enterprise services such as financing for cities. In addition, KLC Insurance Services is the largest municipal insurance carrier in Kentucky. KLC is overseen by a board of directors representing communities of all sizes and is recognized as one of the nation's most innovative and successful leagues of its kind. KLC was formed in 1927 when 12 Kentucky cities came together to create a unified front on common legislative issues and to benefit from economies of scale for purchases. Today, KLC continues to respond to our members' changing needs. In 1987, cities came to KLC because they could not afford or find insurance. The result was what is now called Kentucky League of Cities Insurance Services (KLCIS), a member-owned insurance pool. Mission Statement: The Kentucky League of Cities serves as the united voice of cities by supporting community innovation, effective leadership and quality governance.
