Bernardo Tavares

Bernardo Tavares currently serves as Chief Technology & Data Officer at Kenvue since May 2023 and is a member of the CNBC Technology Executive Council, where technology executives collaborate on industry advancements. Additionally, Bernardo is a board member of the MIT Center for Information Systems Research Data Research Advisory Board, contributing to key research initiatives. Previously, as Vice President and Group CIO at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, Bernardo directed the business technology strategy from November 2017 to May 2023 and held various executive positions at Johnson & Johnson and Unilever, focusing on IT strategy and implementation across Latin America and the Americas. Bernardo's early career included roles in business systems and software development at DiverseyLever, Gessy Lever, and IBM. Bernardo holds an engineering degree from the Universidade de São Paulo and a post-graduate degree in business administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas.
