Claudia Perna

Claudia Perna is a skilled packaging engineer with a focus on research and development. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Packaging Engineer and formerly as a Global Packaging Development Engineer at Kenvue and Johnson & Johnson, Claudia has significant experience in packaging design and material science. Previous roles include work as a Raw Material Center Scientist and an internship at the Center for Advanced Biomaterials for HealthCare, where Claudia conducted research on the interaction between intestinal microbiota and epithelial cells using a microfluidic Gut-on-Chip device. Additionally, an internship at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia involved the design and fabrication of microfluidic chips for cell and bacterial culture utilizing advanced CAD software and rapid prototyping techniques. Claudia holds a Master's degree in Industrial Bioengineering and a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
