Matilda Moraa Mwamburi

Matilda Moraa Mwamburi is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in land valuation and acquisition, currently serving as the Manager for Valuation & Land Acquisition at Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited (KETRACO) since February 2010. In this role, Matilda oversees policies and strategies related to land acquisition for transmission line projects and substations. Prior to this position, MATILDA MORAA contributed to the development of the Resettlement Policy Framework as a Senior Land Economist at KETRACO. Matilda's career also includes roles as an Estates Officer at the National Social Security Fund (NSSF Kenya), where property management and lease negotiations were key responsibilities, and as a Property Valuer for Jorim Property Consultants, focusing on property valuations and management. Additionally, Matilda began a career in the property industry as a Trainee Property Valuer at Town Properties Limited/Kenya National Assurance Company Limited. Matilda holds a Master of Arts in Housing Administration, Real Estate Development, and a Bachelor of Arts in Land Economics, Real Estate from the University of Nairobi.
