Elizabeth Mbogo

Elizabeth Mbogo is a dedicated research professional with extensive experience in epidemiological surveillance and molecular analysis. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) since March 2020, Elizabeth conducts comprehensive surveillance on cholera incidence and prevalence, employing advanced molecular biology techniques such as PCR and DNA sequencing to analyze cholera strains. Previously, Elizabeth worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Labcorp Scientific Services & Solutions, performing testing and analysis of materials and documenting quality standard deviations. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and biotechnology and is pursuing a Master’s degree in bioinformatics from the University of Nairobi.
