Bernadette Ndege, MISK, has extensive experience in the field of surveying and geospatial engineering, currently serving as the Land Value Capture Focal Point for the Kenya Urban Mobility Improvement Project and as a GIS Expert and Survey and Land Management Lead for the Nairobi Railway City at Kenya Railways since August 2014. Ndege also held the position of Land Surveyor for the Eldoret Railway City and has served as a Geographic Information System Specialist at Kenya Railways Corporation. Additionally, Ndege was the Chair of the Young Surveyors Geospatial Chapter, from December 2015 to June 2017, and participated as an Advisory Board Member and Featured Speaker at African Utility Week. Previous roles include Geo Consultant at Upande Ltd and GeoSpecialist at Google. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Project Planning and Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Surveying Engineering from the University of Nairobi, as well as an MSc in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation from the University of Twente, expected to be completed in August 2026.
