Molly Vogel

Director Of Advancement Communications & Strategy at Kenyon College

Molly Vogel has a diverse background in communications and marketing. Starting in 2001, they worked as a Staff Writer for CM Media, where they wrote news and feature stories for various publications. From 2004 to 2009, they served as a TV writer/critic for The Columbus Dispatch, where they redesigned TV coverage and wrote multiple articles per week. Molly then moved on to the non-profit organization The Childhood League Center, where they held the position of Communications & Marketing Manager from 2011 to 2012, implementing strategic communications plans and managing the organization's online presence. In 2015, Molly became the Director of Communications for the Alzheimer's Association, Central Ohio Chapter, increasing awareness of the association and coordinating the production of materials. From 2016 to 2019, they were the Associate Director of Advancement Communications and Editor, Alumni Magazine at Ohio Wesleyan University, overseeing the design update of the alumni magazine and directing advancement communications. Most recently, Molly has been working at Kenyon College since 2019, initially as the Advancement Communications Director and currently as the Director of Advancement Communications & Strategy. In this role, they provide strategic communications direction, leads alumni communications, recommends new practices, and ensures strategic integrity across programs and platforms.

Molly Vogel attended Kenyon College from 1996 to 2000, where they earned their Bachelor's degree in English, French, and Spanish.
