Partner at Keoghs

Katherine qualified as a Legal Executive in 1998, becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in 2004. She has experience in both claimant and defendant personal injury cases. She has specialised in defendant litigation since 2000 and deals predominantly with higher value multi-track motor and liability claims.

A noteable case that Katherine dealt with is Gorringe v Calderdale MBC. This is a House of Lords decision addressing the duty of care owed by the Local Authority under the Highways Act to maintain the highway, extended to the maintenance of signs painted on the surface of the carriageway.
