Matthew Chappell

Matthew Chappell has a diverse work experience in the finance and accounting field. Matthew is currently working as a Finance & Admin Manager at Keolis Downer since August 2022. Prior to this, Matthew worked at the City of Newcastle, Australia for a period of ten years. During their tenure there, they held various roles including Management Accountant from January 2015 to July 2022, Manager Business Partnering from September 2020 to September 2021, and Finance Business Partner from November 2012 to January 2015. Matthew initially started their career at PwC Australia as an Audit Accountant and worked there from January 2009 to November 2012.

Matthew Chappell completed their Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting from the University of Newcastle from 2009 to 2012. Matthew then pursued a course at CPA Australia from 2013 to 2015.
