Thomas Friis Brændstrup

Thomas Friis Brændstrup serves as the Vice-chairman of the Rail Employers Association at The Confederation of Danish Industry since 2019, having been a board member since 2018. As CEO of Keolis Letbaner A/S since July 2016, Thomas oversees all light rail operations in Denmark, successfully managing the Aarhus LRT and the Odense Tramway. Additional roles include board membership at Nordjyske Jernbaner and previous positions at Arriva Danmark, where Thomas held several leadership roles, including Interim Rail Director and Head of Traffic Operations. Prior experience includes management positions at Arriva Tog A/S and Falck, with a background in emergency services and journalism. Thomas's educational qualifications include management training from Aarhus University and leadership studies from Erhvervsakademi SydVest.
