Simon Hayes

Simon Hayes has over 20 years of experience in various finance and leadership roles. Simon currently serves as the CFO - Meat Division at Kepak Group since May 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer - Valeo Foods Europe and Head of Group Integration at Valeo Foods Group from 2019 to 2021. From 2013 to 2019, they held multiple roles at Sharp, part of UDG Healthcare plc, including Chief Financial Officer, Divisional Commercial Director, Global VP Continuous Improvement & Customer Experience, and Interim Managing Director. Simon also worked as the General Manager - West and Head of Integration at Agrii (Origin Enterprises plc) from 2011 to 2013. Before that, they served as the Finance Director at R&H Hall (Origin Enterprises plc) from 2007 to 2011 and as the Financial Controller at Comans Wholesale (Heineken Ireland) from 2000 to 2006. Simon started their career at Lufthansa GTS as a Financial & Operations Controller.

Simon Hayes obtained their ACCA degree in Accountancy from Dublin Business School, where they studied from 1989 to 1992. In addition, they earned a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. Other certifications include a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute and a Dip WSET from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
