Anvar Karimson

Anvar Karimson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the technology sector. Anvar started their career as a Consultant at various consultancies from 2007 to 2011. Anvar then worked as a Senior Developer at IG Group from September 2011 to September 2012. From November 2012 to June 2014, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Lab49. Anvar then joined RBS as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2014 to June 2015. Anvar then worked at ICAP, first as a Senior Software Engineer from June 2015 to May 2016, and then as the Head of Platform, Front Office Technology from May 2016 to May 2017. Anvar later joined BGC Partners as the Head of Development, Client Facing Technology, where they worked from November 2017 to February 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Technology Innovation Officer at Kepler Cheuvreux since February 2021, and they recently took on the additional role of Chief Technology Officer in April 2022.

Anvar Karimson obtained a Master of Science degree in Information and Communication Technology, with a specialization in Distributed Systems, from KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Anvar completed this degree program from 2003 to 2007.
