Benoît Pétrarque has extensive work experience in the financial services sector. Benoît started their career at KPMG Financial Services in 2000 as an Audit Supervisor and later became an Audit Manager. During their time at KPMG, they were involved in audit and risk management assignments for banks, with a focus on ING Bank. In 2007, they joined Kepler Cheuvreux as the Head of Benelux research, where they were responsible for equity research analysis of Benelux financial institutions. Benoît covered major banks and insurance companies in the region, and their research reports were published on the Kepler Cheuvreux website. In 2020, they took on the role of Head of Thematic Banking Research and Benelux financials at Kepler Cheuvreux.
Benoît Pétrarque obtained a Master's degree in Finance, General from Free University Brussels from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they completed a Master's degree in Finance, General at Freie Universitaet Berlin in 1999.
